A real on-chain buy of $LASTAPE worth at least 0.3 SOL, as recorded in the trade itself. It doesn't matter where you buy: pump.fun, Jupiter, a Telegram or trading bot, any wallet or interface. The server reads the coin's trades straight from the chain every few seconds, so there is nothing to connect or register here. Bot and platform fees can shave a little off the recorded amount, so aim a touch above 0.3 (0.31 is safe). Smaller buys are fine trades, they just don't take the top.

Any sale by your wallet after your qualifying buy, of any size, before the round's clock reaches 00:00. The server also checks that the current Last Ape still holds the tokens it bought (every 2 to 3 seconds in the final minute, and once more for 00:00 itself), so moving them to another wallet before 00:00 counts too. Your buy goes dark and the crown drops at once to the newest earlier buy whose wallet is still holding. A sell never resets the clock: it keeps running from where it was.

Yes. If your wallet is still holding, every new buy of 0.3 SOL or more is a new entry: it makes you the Last Ape again, and in the final 15 seconds it resets the clock to 00:15 like anyone else's buy. A wallet that sold is out for its earlier buys, but a fresh buy of 0.3 SOL or more after the sale counts as a new entry too.

90% of every creator fee goes to the Prize Pot wallet (the other 10% buys and burns $BLUEPRINT). A round's prize is the fees that actually arrived in the Prize Pot since the previous round closed, plus anything rolled over into it. At 00:00 the next round starts at once. In the background the server waits 12 seconds for late trades and confirms on chain that the Last Ape still held the tokens it bought at 00:00 (if they left before 00:00, the crown goes to the previous eligible ape, checked the same way; selling or moving them after 00:00 is fine). Then it sends the prize right away, less the network fee. A prize above 49.9 SOL goes out in parts. Every payout is on the Prize Pot's public log, and its Solscan link shows in the floor log and in Rounds.

No winner that round, so it is marked ROLLED: its whole prize carries into the next round's prize. A prize under 0.0001 SOL after the network fee rolls over the same way. Rounds nobody aped into aren't counted, so their fees simply land in the next round.

Every round starts at exactly 10:00. Down to 00:15 the clock runs untouched: buys only change who the Last Ape is (at 09:30 or 00:40, a buy takes the top and the clock keeps going). In the final 15 seconds, every qualifying buy resets it to exactly 00:15 (it never stacks: at 00:12 or 00:03, a new buy puts it back to 00:15), with no cap on how many times, so a busy finish runs longer. Sells never reset it. It ends when a full 15 seconds pass without a new qualifying buy and the clock reaches 00:00.

Back to back, all day, timed by the server. Round 1 started with the first trade the server saw. There is no break between rounds: the next round starts the moment the clock hits 00:00, and a buy at or after 00:00 counts for the new round.
